Bonoloto Introduction

BonoLoto is a Spanish lottery that was first drawn in 1988 with the goal of providing regular draws and jackpots to the millions of lottery fans across Spain. This game can also be played in many other countries through lottery portals like Multilotto and its draws are even used on Multilotto’s Bitcoin Jackpot.

How to Play Bonoloto

The BonoLoto draw takes place 6 times a week—every day except for Sunday. Players are tasked with choosing 6 numbers from a possible 49. A seventh number is drawn, but this is not chosen by the player and is instead used to create the second prize tier in a similar way that the bonus ball is used in the UK National Lottery and the New York Lottery.

The BonoLoto costs just €1.00 per ticket and there are a total of 5 prize tiers, the highest of which is the jackpot and is paid to players who match all 6 numbers. There is also something known as a “Reintegro” or “Refund” number. If players match this number then they can claim a refund on their ticket.

Bonoloto Jackpots and Records

The largest ever BonoLoto jackpot was €7 million, which was won all the way back in 1990, but the jackpots regularly climb into the 7 figures thanks to its guaranteed jackpot of €400,000. The BonoLoto is one of the cheapest ways to take a stab at a major European lottery jackpot, which is why this game has become so popular in recent years.

Bonoloto Odds

The BonoLoto has very respectable odds, and each ticket has a 1 in 13.9 million chance of winning (or 1 in 13,983,816 to be exact). The odds of scooping the second highest prize (paid to those who get 5 main numbers and the bonus number) are just over 1 in 2.33 million, while the odds of matching the refund number and winning a refund are 1 in 10.
